Cap-M-Quik® is spelled without a "c". Other common spellings are cap-m-quik (with dashes), capnquik and cap-n-quik, as well as cap-n-quick and capnquick, and cap-m-quick (with a "c" and dashes). It's important to note that cap-m-quik.com only carries authentic Cap-M-Quik® products, which are authorized and manufactured by Star Products. If you don't see the "®" next to Cap-M-Quik®, then it may not be authentic. Be warned: copycat products, labeled as "Cap-M-Quick" capsule fillers (Cap-M-Quick with a "c"), were found to have been manufactured and distributed out of Taiwan. They are not authentic, and they do not have the same precision holes that Cap-M-Quik® capsule fillers and tampers have. Also... buying empty gelatin capsules or empty vegcaps from distributors other than Cap-M-Quik.com may be risky, as we use empty capsules that are designed to fit the Cap-M-Quik® capsule fillers perfectly. Other products which may be considered as competitors to Cap-M-Quik® would include a product called "the Capsule Machine". It differs quite substantially from the Cap-M-Quik® filler, as it holds 24 capsules, whereas the Cap-M-Quik® capsule filler holds 50. The Capsule Machine does have an appliance that allows self-capping, however the capsules can become stuck. Both domain names, capsulemachine.com and thecapsulemachine.com are owned by Downright-Harry Productions, San Diego, CA. The capsule machine comes in two sizes; size "0" and size "00". Cap-M-Quik® capsule fillers come in size "1", size "0", size "00" and size "000". Size "1" gelatin capsules are the smallest, size "0" is the next size up; size "00" is most popular and is slightly larger than size "0", and size "000" is the largest. It is also the most expensive, mostly because of the relatively low demand of the "000" gelatin size. Empty gelatin capsules (or gelcaps) are available for your Cap-M-Quik® Capsule Filler in all four sizes (1, 0, 00, and 000) vegcaps (or vegicaps) are available for your Cap-M-Quik® Capsule Filler in sizes "0" and "00". Part of the problem with other sizes for empty gelatin capsules and vegicaps "1" and "000" is simply low demand for them. Size "1" and "000" are however available in an empty gelatin capsule form.
